So what is the source of power and expected cost? They were vague in announcement. This is such a large investment. wonder how will make economic sense unless expect huge carbon tariffs and much higher steel prices – forever.
Yes, saw the announcement. Industrial power cost seems to be much higher than 3-4, which they will need due to intermittent nature of renewables production. Again, am really unclear as to the economics here – if this is the trend in Europe, the US should become an exporter of steel.
