For some time now I am searching to buy an apartment or townhouse. This is the first time I feel it is very fishy and I would like to report it for further investigations and if correct the authorities to catch the guys.
Long story short:
– there was a direct from owner ad on ImmoScout24
– I contacted the seller which said she doesn’t want to lose time with visit so now she will use an agency but I won’t pay any commission if I decide to buy
– seller is not living in Germany anymore and she is using “an international agency” – first 🚩
– she deleted the ad on ImmoScout24 yet the agency didn’t add a new one – second 🚩
– the agency contacted me (when I also checked them is really fishy: new website, they don’t appear on Google search, they advertise couple of very up-class houses in Europe but all appear sold – multiple 🚩
– they appear to have offices in few countries but at those addresses they don’t appear on Google- another 🚩
– no mention of the company ID – 🚩
– a long list of agents with pictures but I can’t find them on Google (would be the first hidden real estate agents in the world) 🚩
– the group picture in the company profile doesn’t contain any of the agents or managers 🚩
– one phone number only (really???) and when searching on Google it appears reported as unsolicited outbound calls – another 🚩
– they ask for 9.000 euro in an escrow account just to visit the property- biggest 🚩
– for those curios the agency is [(fake?) real estate agency](https://www.immo.fokus-home.com/)

Report them to ImmoScout.
I mean, you can report them to the police, but they’re not going to be in Germany.
