Another report of dubious veracity quoted by the Guardian. One wonders when they’re going to come out in open support of criminality.
Damn those police and their…. *Checks notes*….. Use of armed officers to tackle literal terrorists and their……….. Ability to identify a person through their fingerprints

“Vastly tips power in favour of the state.”
That’s good, isn’t it? Because to my mind, the alternative seems to be a level playing field with criminals and terrorists. Why would anybody think that’s a good idea?
Who would have thought that counter terrorism units are paramilitary. The ability to stop terror attacks requires equipment and training somewhat similar to the armed forces, we all know and accept this.
Good preparation for when global warming shoots though +2C in a few years then
Wild how all the comments that don’t think this is a bad thing have a post history suggesting they’re active police officers lmao
So, is Putin bad and likely to send spies to Britain, or is Britain bad and should not protect itself?
What specifically is a “military-grade drone”, and why is it bad for the police to use them?
And apart from that, all their “key concerns” didn’t appear to have to do with the military at all.
We have the most ineffective border control in all of British history and a government that literally taxis hordes of fighting age makes into Dover but it doesn’t stop the wet blankets at the guardian crying about it 24/7.
