Why should the EU get involved with Serbian domestic affairs? Serbia isn’t really an EU ally

Not only that, there was recently a report that the EC arranged benefits re integration with Vucic if he gets political support for Rio Tinto.

Its not surprising at all. West has been exploiting Serbia and other Balkan countries for years.
Opposition leader like Bosko Obradovic and Dragan Djilas too would have signed with Rio Tinto.
But it’s always somebody else’s fault in Serbia.

Also this all is less about the Rio Tinto directly. The bigger problem is that the president signed into the law that you don’t need a majority of people to go out and vote on referendum for it to be valid.
Also the new law that gives the state right to take ownership of private land if it’s in the “interest of the state”.
People living in the affected areas were not willing sell their land for the most part and the Rio Tinto did not have enough land to start a mine. Now comes this law. What do you think will start happening next?

In Serbia there isn’t at all any effort for joining EU. Serbia is Russian puppet and the most influental countries of EU knows that. What you think? That they are stupid? We need to learn one thing. There is no such thing like neutrality in the world. It’s either US and their allies or Russia and others. We don’t share EU perspective on the world. We are different and we don’t belong to their group at least not yet.
They won’t interfere in our inner problems, they will if we cross boundries. And boundries are don’t mess with cointries where we (US and EU) have interest in. That is Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, probably Kosovo.
How they can accept countrie into their union when we are unstable and can provoke war in a minute? They are not crazy to do that. Russian influence in Serbia is way more stronger then any other, even Chinas isn’t strong like that, but still stronger then EU. Can you name one countrie in EU where Russian influence is the strongest?
As for this shit talk about Serbia joining EU it is political game to keep peace and nothing else. Why EU needs Serbia in a state like this? And why they should solve our inner problems with political dictators llke our current president. Those are things you need to deal by yourself. If Serbian people doesn’t want to live better why EU should bother about that? It’s hilarious how we are looking at these stuff.
Serbia needs change, but it’s not EU the one who should open our eyes, that needs to be done by ourselves.

The EU should care about this, it’s officials have talked of environmental concerns for a long time, and they’re ignoring Serbia for what ? Rio Tinto, those crooks?
