Who has the right of way?

  1. If you’re following the curve of the lines, not crossing any, then you have priority. If you are crossing lines, you have to give way to anyone who is not. (i.e. you have priority if turning right, and have to give way if turning left)

  2. The people on the right of you have right of way. Which is a bit confusing tbh because when driving you have a tendency to think people coming from the right are coming from a side street and therefore you still have right if way.

  3. Anyone not crossing any dotted lines can just drive. If you want to cross a dotted line … give way to anyone on your right.

Also good to note that In Switzerland, on official big roundabouts you give way to anyone already on the roundabout (who will be on your left) however on mini-roundabouts local drivers in Zürich revert to assuming the car on the right has the priority … which is super dangerous since they are not even on the mini-roundabout yet

  4. These stress the hell out of me… give way to left on roundabouts so my brain does that automatically which is wrong.

I wish this was a mini roundabout.

  5. This post and the comments are scary tbh.
I guess no-one would get their driving licence if they had to take the test today.

  6. This is something really swiss.

This on the ground means right before left but instead of every other country where they put nothing, they put These on the ground and foreigners are completely surprised by this.

  7. Whoever doesn’t have to go across a line has right of way. If all don’t have to cross a line then they can obviously all go at the same time with no issue.
