A walrus is a potentialy dangerous animal with a weight of over half a tonn and a swift swimmer.
She caused damages to properties in the tens of thousands.
Relocating her back to Svalbard where she belong would cost well over $50,000.
And when the general public + tourist are so stupid that they have to get as close as possible to this giant for a photo, then there is no wonder she was put down.
Humans value human lives higher than a high threat animal far away from their natural habitat.
So again, what is the problem?
