If you’re in the province I highly recommend Calblanque beaches, the calas in line 2 are secluded, with fewer people and absolutely beautiful. The water is warm and cristal clear and there are corals you can explore by the rocks with beautifully colored mediterranean sea critters~ (you have to take a bus to the beaches in August tho so do your research)
I buried a watermelon there around 27 years ago, when only locals would go there and cars were allowed. Didn’t find the watermelon, but the fishing went good.
Next time try to come to Cartagena in April-May, I think is the BEST!
