In my opinion, it would make more sense if the Russians, if they want to come to Europe, would be forced to pay 500-1000 Euros into a fund that Ukraine can freely use to buy weapons or to finance reconstruction after they are done with the Russians.
They could even get a little card as a souvenir, saying thank you for supporting the Ukrainian cause.
