Change my mind: Taking your kids (especially if they’re this small) to a protest that has previously turned violent is bad parenting.
Didn’t expext any other comments than this on Reddit but still found this worth the post. Aside if it is irresponsible for parents to bring their child to a protest and either if you’re pro- or anti cop, this is an uncommon image that shows that -despite the many conflicts of interests in our society- respect from and for all involved parties should be a common mentality.
We’ve ended up in a society where hate and envy among eachother is so widespread-as the comments prove this. This really saddens me.
Sorry, but this photo just tells me loud and clear that this child’s parents are incorrigible idiots.
Poor kid should be at home being a kid, not being trotted out for ridiculous photos by their smooth-brained antivaxxer parents.
Parents should be given a crash course in basic mathematics and exponential modelling and then be taken to a few ICU units to see Covid patients on ventilators struggling to breathe. A crash course in how triage works from ICU staff wouldn’t go amiss either. Maybe they could speak to a few cancer patients who are having their operations postponed because idiots like them are refusing to be vaccinated.
Perhaps a brief stint in a country where people really have to ‘march for freedom’ could be included for good measure.
Same people that would gladly watercannon the schoolkids’ eco protests? It’s getting a bit blurry there.
