They can only charge it if someone pays it…but yeah prices gone north big time.
Aldi and Lidl are much better value when it comes to lunch meats
Paid nearly €4 for 90gs of cooked turkey breast the other day. Centra at its finest
Modern Ireland.
A slice of processed swine, yum
That’s posh deli ham tho. That’s always been a bit overpriced and that one in particular is nice enough/big enough to make a few sambos.
Look fuck Tesco across the board,.I’m not saying they’re not wankers but buy some picnic ham for 99 cents ya posho.
Get the Torchon Ham in Aldi, they have a similar ham in lidl, cant rem the name maybe the Dulano one … Much better quality and price… Slices are big too
This actually hasn’t increased. I’ve bought it for lunch a few times before the “cost of living crisis”.
I’m not exactly a fan of the green party but they’d have a point here. One slice and the same weight in packaging please that will last a few hundred years
I remember in the 90’s the Superquinn premium ham was 50p a slice.
Come on! It has Crumbles! Worth every penny!
I’d rather buy a lump of ham boil it myself and make sambos out of it.
90g is a “normal” Denny pack of ham. That’s one THICK slice.
Is that even enough ham for a sandwich using batch loaf?
This can’t be real…
All that packaging for a fuckin slice of ham. Jasus
Honestly, you’re cheaper to go with the Tesco meal deal. Sambo, crips and a drink for €3.99.
100g of ham in a single sandwich is a bit much, no?
Even then, this is only about €22/kilo, which is pretty good in terms of deli ham.
Delighted – the sooner that animal products are doubled again in price to indicate the needless suffering that they endure in factory faming the better.
€4 for 10 in Supervalu.
Is that a slice ? 😂😂😂 ah here come off it … it’s like 4 euro for 10/12 slices in a Brady’s family pack
This is just a crime against the environment.
€2 for 90g of ham is pretty standard and has been for a while – dennys, carrolls, bradys all there or there abouts.
90g is a lot for a sandwich. This is enough for 2 sandwiches. Still expensive though.
I don’t like the ones you get in packets or anything like that. They’re too thin, they resemble razor blades to me at times.
