>When Troy sold the house to the council, long-term tenants of his were living in the property.
>Speaking to The Ditch this afternoon, Dawid Janeczek said he’d been living in the house for 15 years and that throughout his tenancy Troy had insisted on cash payments for rent.
>Janeczek said he was paying the minister of state “around €700 a month” and that payments to Troy’s bank account weren’t an option as the Longford-Westmeath “wanted cash”.
That’s over 100k. that’s some serious tax evasion.
A corrupt politican.. imagine!
it will be swept under the carpet and ignored too, which is worse..
Well, keeping paperwork of your crimes isn’t the best approach.
Surely has to go no?
Standard Fianna Fáil
Is there anything more FF than a Minister lining his own pockets through tax evasion and dodgy deals?
Insisted on cash payments for rent too….not dodge at all.
Have the Gardai done anything yet? Or does someone have to make a complaint first?
Revenue need to start digging too.
Honestly, the lads behind the ditch are as close to scumfuckers as you can get
*Buttttttttt* a broken clock is right twice a day. What happened with Troy is a travesty. No records. Nothing.
“Those houses were just resting in my account! No, no! It’s was strictly a non profit making, subsidiary account, before I moved them on!”
There’s definitely more to this story. I hope some decent investigative journalist get involved.
