People are surprised by DVL being an actual fascist? I don’t think anything’s been telegraphed that hard since we stopped using the telegraph.

I’m not surprised that he thinks like this. I’m surprised that he says it out loud. Normally they just dogwhistle and keep plausible deniability.
Walls are closing in on him for different things, I think, and he’s just using dog whistles to rile up his most fervent fans. This way he can pretend to be a martyr later, persecuted for ‘not being woke’ or some dumb shit, instead of just admitting he’s a blatant racist who’s grifting his followers.
