Schools in England told not to cut days over energy price rises

  1. I thought cold showers & long runs were the basis of all English education. How else would you be blessed with so many practitioners of ’tilting at windmills’ like your wonderful fantasist Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson..

  2. Do something about the energy situation then you numpties. Otherwise the schools will need to close down two days a week so we can send the kids down the mines on the other days.

  3. Heating, lights or teachers… I guess that’s the decision we have to make if the government refuses to adjust their budgets.

  4. They won’t cut working days they’ll cut staff to the bare minimum starting with the lowest paid in the school as schools always do when trying to balance the budget.

  5. I hope boomer voters feel guilty when they see freezing / starving children that can no longer go to school full time because the party they vote for wants to do fu*k all.

But they won’t feel guilty because that implies that generation cares about other people.

  6. Maybe this winter they won’t leave windows and doors wide open while also trying to heat the place using an extortionate amount of energy.

  7. Another bullshit government order that gets them headlines in the mail and puts it on the schools to magic a solution.
