  1. Apparently he’s [planning to take 12 refugees back with him.](https://www.washingtonpost.com/religion/pope-francis-to-take-migrants-and-refugees-in-cyprus-to-the-vatican/2021/12/03/3d699604-546d-11ec-83d2-d9dab0e23b7e_story.html)

    >*”When Pope Francis visited a refugee camp on the Greek island of Lesbos in April 2016, he decided to take 12 immigrants and asylum seekers back with him to Rome, Italy. On Friday (Dec. 3), the Vatican Press Office announced the pope will do so again on this trip.”*

    Does anyone know:

    * how does the Pope choose the twelve? It it like choosing a team for school sports?

    * what happened to the 12 he took in 2016? Are they still in Vatican City or did they eventually get out?

    * is the Pope still telling other countries to build bridges not walls, from behind the [12m high Vatican walls?](https://imgur.com/a/WFG91YP)
