  1. Most of EE tries to be neutral or friendly to China because we like money and don’t care about geopolitics on the literal other side of the world.

  2. 17+1 has failed to produce a noticeable impact on CEE region, USA refocusing on China and some countries of the region want to remain relevant outside of acting as a bastion against Russia which is a secondary topic for Biden, changes in Lithuanian and Czech governments after last elections with liberals taking power contributes to change of their stance.
