‘Serious concerns’ over booster rollout as GPs say they can’t afford to offer jabs

  1. To all the people in uproar about “wHy Do wE NeEd OnE eVeRy YeAr nOw?”:

    1. You’ve clearly never had the flu jab. It’s not a big deal. Plenty of people have been having yearly vaccine rollouts for stuff since forever, it just hasn’t affected you until now.

    2. Since obviously you have never been eligible for the free flu jab, you will also not be eligible for the yearly covid booster. So shut the fuck up because this isn’t about, or for, you. You’re still not affected.

  2. I think a lot of people won’t be as inclined to get more COVID jabs so this probably won’t be a problem. I’m personally unjabbed and never had COVID my mates are a mix of 1 to 3 jabs and they seem to be getting multiple COVID infection. This is my personal experience, you do you.

  3. Serious question here…. Do you lot of pro convid jabbers use lube when the government asks you to bend over or do you all prefer it au natural? Asking for a friend

  5. Wow GPs saying they can’t give patients appointments like they’re contracted to. So what exactly is the point of outsourcing to GPs if they won’t deal with NHS patients?

If they can’t deliver the contract they’ve signed up to they should be banned from providing services to the NHS.

People talk about cutting funds, this is where the funds should be cut from and reinvested into medical service providers who deliver to the NHS.

I’ve been refused access to a doctor a number of times as the receptionist felt I wasn’t an emergency, I didn’t want an emergency appointment, I just wanted an appointment.

I find it hard to be sympathetic when most of it is poor management of services.

A close friend of mine has had a cancer spread. The doctor performing the surgery gave her two options. On the NHS she can wait for up to 3 months to have the growth removed, she goes private he did it within 4 working days using an NHS hospital to perform the surgery.

It’s an absolute disgrace we’re paying enhanced National Insurance and we’re being forced to pay private rates in life and death situations.

  6. whoever is creating these antivax bots is really gettiing lazy.

    genericword-otherword-fourdigitnumber is a pretty recognizable naming scheme…

Also, really what is the point in antivax bots now? have they just been forgotten about from a few years ago when there was actually a debate going on?

  7. I’d get it after getting Covid

Surprised more people don’t wear masks to avoid this as it’s fucking awful to get. Literally like the worse flu I’ve ever had
