This is bound to happen, it’s why it is so important to throw as much money as it takes at integrating refugees into life and the economy here as quickly as possible. It will never be enough money to fix all problems but I hope that what has been done so far has enough momentum to give everyone a good chance at a normal life here. This is important not only for Ukrainians but also the Polish population too, integrated people will largely look like anyone else but if we don’t integrate them and have huge numbers of desperate people with no family to fall back on we’ll all be miserable.
