hello fellow Hungarians, I’m visiting Hungary/gyula, at which restaurant i could find the clasic/best babgulyas in bread? thanks in advance

6. I’ve been to Gyula a couple times, and all I could find at every restaurant was fried (breaded) chicken (a.k.a. rántott hús).

9. part of the family lives there, we are regulars at Várkonyi and Géza Konyhája, definitely can recommend both
   eat from a plate not a bagel

10. Corner, Géza Konyhája, Várkonyi, Komló these all where I’ve been and they were all fine.
    Some special confectionery where you can have delicious dessert: La Sposa Cafe, Kézműves cukrászda, Százéves cukrászda (100 Hundred Year Old Confectionary)

11. Lot of you says that this is BS. It’s not! If you never tried it then you should.

12. If you visit Gyula, I’ll recommend Patrióta Kisvendéglő. It’s ran by a very nice couple, they use locally sourced ingredients and quite decent cooking techniques. Book in advance as they are usually full.

    No babgulyás in bread but traditional dishes and great quality.
