I needed basil leaves yesterday for a dish. Got this from Kaufland. Can I keep watering and care for it like a regular plant?

5. Hot Tipp: take a big bowl, fill it with water. Take the plant out of the plastic pot and immerse the soil completely in the water. You should see plenty of bubbles come out. Leave it in there, until no bubbles appear. Take it out, put it into a pot and keep watering regularly, especially at those temperatures. I think I give mine a full cup of water at least once a week – they are thirsty.
