    If you imagine any old white politician male doing the same, that would be ridiculous, creepy and laughable.

    Now people can have positive or negative opinion about how a politician should handle it’s public image. Are members of the government above the common folk and should restrain showing their private life?

  8. It’s this grey area in which I am all for people in position of power to show their laid back selves and to remind people, that they themselves are human.
    On the other hand you have regural people posting the very same type of content and getting called out for it at their work place and in worse case scenarios, even getting fired.

  13. Hey, let’s not shame people for enjoying themselves and life in general. It is a good thing that people dance, sing and love with their friends. It hurts no one. We don’t need to keep shaming this like our parents shamed us. We can let this happen and we can allow people to enjoy themselves without shame and guilt having anything to do with it. It’s allright. In a world with a lot of actual problems, we don’t need to hang on to old dusty ass shame culture. Peace out ✌️

  14. A bunch of conservative men criticizing a woman because of having fun, nothing new. Finland is so fucking backwards in some things that I don’t know how to explain. In Spain (I happened to end up in Finland to work) people associate the nordics with welfare and freedom, as (especially Swedes) were coming during the late Franco times as tourists with things like two piece women swimming gear (it was almost forbidden due to public scandal laws during Franco times). Now I need to separate and say that Finland is one of the most conservative countries that I have ever lived in.

  15. Seoul, South Korea, was recently destroyed by huge flood and there was an entire family drowned to death. The president later visited the place where drowning took place, took a photo of himself looking around the place, and created a propaganda poster that said “we will spare no efforts to save all” using THAT photo.

    I am from that shithole country, so some people here getting mad at a few seconds long party dancing video of their PM is beyond me.

The problem with it unfortunately is that she is the leader of a country that could be said is in a sticky situation right now politically and whilst there is nothing wrong with her cutting loose and having some fun to relieve stress there is a problem with it getting recorded and released to the public. Remember not all the people seeing this will be happy themselves mentally and with how the country is being run, as a politician she needs to be setting a good example and more often than not showing her people she is working towards making their county a better place to live in by any means necessary. Not all her votes are going to come from party going younger people, she needs to be an example for the whole of Finland. Even if these events are few and far between the rest of the world picks up on these and reports heavily on them. She’s now becoming known as the young hip party prime minister, which may sound cool but at the end of the day she’s a politician, a leader of a country bordering the currently most hated country in the world and on the verge of joining NATO, she is NOT a social media influencer.

  19. oh so if you’d see her at an official party of some sort where they’re stood like wooden people and the party cost a hunk of money, that’d be fine, right? it’s just a video, of her dancing around, where’s the harm? putin next door is slaughtering people and acting all nice infront of the camera, much better eh?
