In case this highly improbable “blitzkrieg” will happen – it would be real fast and almost bloodless as there would be few to none resistance. As we seen before in the heroic defense of Crimea by Ukrainian troops.

What would Russia’s objectives be?
Why would they attack?
This isnt a video game.
They successfully manages to keep the country in a frozen conflict in Donbass and “take away” thus lands with relatively pro russian populations, keeping Ukraine indefinitely out of Nato and the EU.
They took Crimea because again, they had support on the ground for it and they needed the port for geopolitical and military reasons, as they had been using it with permission from Ukraine but obviously that would have ended considering the situation.
They have a visa program to try to attract all the pro russian population to go to Russia and become Russian citizens
Theres 0 reason for Russia to attack Ukraine for amything else. They dont want to paint the map. This isnt a video game. Taking Crimea alone was super costly even if it was bloodless and with a willing population. Russia wouldnt commit economic suicide by annexing any other part even if they had guarantees of no outside intervention, just to have a new rebellious piece of lad that offers them no advantages.
Honestly, Ukraine just wants to drive up support and anti russian sentiment in case they can use western support if they try an offensive themselves to reclaim either rebel territory or way less likely attempt to go after Crimea (big doubt for that)
And do you want amy proof of that? Last year they signed this which talks about developing within 3 months of when it was aigned and starting to use all means necessary including military force to try to reclaim the rebel areas and Crimea. This includes propaganda like this I suppose:

Russia loves the status quo right now which is in their favor. Its only Ukraine trying to find ways to change it via any means and trues to push such narratives to have the backing to restart the conflict.
Sorry but im just tired of this.
I wish the best for Ukraine either way, this isnt an anti ukranian post, its against the misinformation and propaganda that is going around. Russia has its fair share of propaganda but thats another topic.
