Personally I feel the the headline should read “party who wanted to break the EU agreement in a limited and specific way, angry at the EU for wanting to break the agreement in a limited and specific way.”
We continue to expect the EU to honour a deal that we are in breach of. British exceptionalism at its worst.

On the upside, it’s great – it stops Brexit from ever being “done” and dead as an issue, increasing the chances of getting it undone.
You mean the Horizon program that we told the EU we were leaving? Can’t wait to hear the convoluted arguments HMG will come up with for this one..
