Ehm, is dat niet zo’n beetje hun core identity? Of bedoelt hij dat ze het moeten houden bij hun klassiek-fascistische gedachtengoed?

What started as a well intended emancipation movement (although with many flaws) has become one of the most pervasive underminers of Belgian democracy. If Guido Gezelle saw what it has become he would spit in their faces.
Someone like Bruno De Wever knows very well what they are up to. His father was a convicted VMO terrorist, his grandfather a convicted collaborator. Growing up he was sent to neonazi camps in Germany together with Bart where they were taught negationism and they had photos of literal Nazi’s hanging in their house. Now his brother is (sort of) the de facto leader of the Flemish movement and he tries very hard through academia to disprove their revisionism to attack their propaganda, but without much success.

If your movement attracts neo-nazis and you don’t take steps to block them or distance yourself from that, you are in fact saying you are OK with being lumped in with neo-nazis.
