So the Met ignored her until she revealed she’d recorded the disgusting interaction and they couldn’t pretend it was “he said she said”. The Met actually had to act, so they…gave him a stern talking-to and put him right back out on beat.
I fucking WISH I was surprised by this shit.
The worst bit is that they did nothing until she said it was recorded.

What are the odds he has said something similar to other women but they did not record him? Something tells me he was not so brazen for his first attempt but became bolder as he got away with less for a while.

He crossed the line when used information gathered in his official capacity to contact this woman in order to sexually harass her. Its particularly concerning that he was placed back in patrol in her community. Considering his own admitted history of “crossing the line”, his presence seems like a real danger.
The fact she’s a mum is irrelevant.
The Met continue to scratch their heads and wonder why the public don’t trust them. If they had any standards at all, this officer would have lost his job on the spot.

How the fuck is this man still a serving police officer after openly admitting to a woman whose details he nabbed from the police database that he was hoping that he could search her at the police station for his own sexual gratification.
