You shouldn’t accept these off your company.
They want to pay you £2k now to shut you up so they don’t have to consistently pay you £5k more in wages each year.
Then when you ask for a pay rise they’ll say “You greedy bastard you just had £2k!!”

This is after a 4.5% pay rise and 9% bonus a couple of months ago, but given current inflation and expected energy price increases I’m sure the staff getting this will be happy.
And then pay them another £1200 next year, and the year after that, and…
