Le Pen: Ukraine belongs in Russia’s sphere of influence

  1. *You took part in the congress of the European hard right in Warsaw. What do PiS and the National Unity have in common?*

The idea that nations must remain sovereign and free at all costs and only on this condition can they form a European alliance. We cannot reconcile ourselves to the fact that without the consent of the nations or in spite of them, attempts are being made using blackmail and threats to impose policies that are against their interests. They are being deprived of the ability to protect their own borders, preserve their identity, values, cultural codes and customs. This is the guiding idea that unites our groups. We want to form a single group in Strasbourg as soon as possible, hopefully during this term of the European Parliament. When we are divided, the European Commission, like a sniper, shoots at each of us separately. Poland and Hungary. But when we unite, it will be much more difficult for it. For example: Brussels wanted to push through a vademecum which recommended that we should no longer address each other as Mrs. or Mr. or Mr. Christmas. No more talk about Christmas. But when the main political forces strongly opposed it, it gave up.

*The verdict of the Constitutional Court on the primacy of national law over the EU and the construction of a wall on the border with Belarus: in the campaign for the presidential elections in France, a number of candidates twice supported the policy of the Polish authorities. For many Frenchmen Poland of PiS is a role model?*

Without a doubt, at least for our voters. Because Poland has shown that inflexibility brings results. When Poles did not allow immigrants to be used as a hybrid weapon against them, Belarus had to give it up. Poland defended all of Europe here. The same with the principle that the national constitution takes precedence over European regulations and jurisprudence.

*Brussels has frozen the Reconstruction Fund for Poland. If you become president in April, will you press the European Commission to unblock those funds?*

But of course! And not only that. The CJEU has imposed one million euros in daily fines on Poland for violating the rule of law. Well, France will pay this fine for Poland! We are net payers to the EU budget and we will deduct these costs from our overpayment. France is a founding country of the Union, its heart. What strength will the coalition of countries fighting to protect their own identity have if France joins them! That is why my victory is so important for the future of the entire Community.

*Will this be the end of the Union?*

As we know it: I hope so. It will be the aforementioned alliance of European nations. The EU has given us the free market, but it has not protected us from unfair competition from outside Europe. It is imposing ever more stringent standards on us, putting our entrepreneurs and farmers in the position of losers, since goods imported from outside the Union do not meet these standards. This must be changed. I would also restore to the nations a number of competences that the Union has taken away from them. The European Commission would be transformed into a secretariat of the EU Council. There is no reason for it to have so much power, especially since it took it over without asking the states and thus limiting the field of democracy. French people no longer want to live in an ultra-liberal system without protection from mass immigration, violence.

*You have abandoned your demand that France abandon the euro. Would you advise Poland to adopt the single currency?*

No. And if France were faced with such a choice today, I would also be against it adopting the euro. This is actually a German currency, shaped for Germany’s needs. It has undercut our competitiveness and contributed to the relocation of production. However, one must also admit that thanks to the ECB’s expansionary policy and the abandonment of the Maastricht criteria in practice, its worst features have been mitigated.

*100,000 Russian troops are ready to invade Ukraine. Are you afraid of the Kremlin’s imperialism?*

I don’t think Putin will make such a mistake. But I also think that in this matter the Union has played the role of a firefighter-pyromaniac. You can say what you want, but Ukraine belongs to Russia’s sphere of influence. Trying to violate this sphere of influence creates tensions, fears and leads to a situation like the one we are witnessing today. And we should all fight together against the real threat that hangs over Europe: Islamism.

*Does Ukraine have the right to join NATO?*

First Turkey has to be taken out of it. I also don’t think that in its current state NATO can accept any new country.

  2. Holy hell, the ignorance on this one.

Completely ignorant of Mitterand and his issue with the Mark controlled economy of Europe and begging to hand that power back to Germany.

Appropriating Americanist “War on Christmas” narratives.

Willing to throw money at Poland, and arguing that Russia has a right to a “sphere of influence”.

Almost every idea she has would weaken Europe, weaken Poland, weaken France and these are the people who style themselves the protectors of European interests….

  3. >Sphere of influence

Lmao fuck off. If we start doing Great Power politics again, France will lose its sovereignty to the USA. The entirety of 20th century french politics is specifically effort and compromises and everything to make sure this DOESN’T happen, and now this witch will just give it away.

Let Ukraine voluntarily integrate into a “sphere of influence”, don’t tell them where they belong. They were going towards Russia post 1991, then Russia treated them badly, and they looked elsewhere. Them’s the facts.

  4. It’s an absolute embarrassment that Kaczynski invites this perennial loser to Warsaw to discuss the EU. My expectations for the Polish government are so low yet they always manage to lower the bar.

  5. Idiots like these are really cost efficient for Putin, it is an almost impressive Investment.

Luckily, they are just extreme and dumb enough to never gain majority support.

    …I hope.

  6. UKRAINE BELONGS TO WHERE IT WANTS TO BELONG! HOW HARD IS IT TO UNDERSTAND THAT YOU STUPID RUSSIAN PAID FUCKS!?

  7. Not really anything new but PiS really is aligning themselves with putinists, great job, wonder how the polish people feel about it.

  8. I love how those wannabe patriots are always the first to sell everything we have to foreign powers.

Fucking traitors, the whole bunch of them.

  9. Le Pen visited Poland recently and from what I have read she declared that when her party will win elections in France French government will pay fine that Poland is obligated to pay for not shutting down power plant in Turow. I wonder if French citizens know about this promise and if they are also willing to pay from their taxes for this.

  10. In case you’re not aware, links between Russian money and Le Pen have been documented in details since at least 2014.

  11. Ukraine has a right to decide its own sphere of influence. If it wants to be aligned with the the EU or Russia is its own decision.

It is not for the EU or Russia to decide.
