1. Getting it in Wexford now too, seriously bright flashes

2. Same in Meath. No thunder just a super light show.

3. There was a storm of similar nature in Mayo back in 2016 after a week of 30 degree temperatures.

   Fork lightning for 2 hours. Seems to be the norm now after hot spells.

4. Very cool, looks like sheet lighting, quite annoyed I missed that.

5. Always get these storms when it’s especially hot during the summer in Europe.

   It’s like penance for the really nice hot day you enjoyed

6. When I was in France when I was younger on holidays, I was scared shitless from lightning and thunderstorm

   We had a tall apartment in a resort in Nice, and we had a complete uninterrupted 180 degree view of everything around us and there was just forks of lightning hitting everything around us for what felt like hours in the pitch dark, honestly felt like we were in a Warzone with the noise and flashes of light
