The pensions triple lock will be suspended next year to avoid a multi-billion pay rise for Britain’s elderly, the Treasury has confirmed.
Thérèse Coffey said the decision has been made to stop Britain’s 12million pensioners “**unfairly benefiting from a statistical anomaly”.**
And then Journalists and Lawyers go through the process of Freedom for Information and are labelled enemies again, just for holding this bunch to account…
At this point in time I would support just about any party that vowed to initiate full transparency in governmental policy. All documents produced by government should be uploaded to a .gov server for public scrutiny.
All these “secret” reports, from Russian interference and Cambridge analytical through to this one on welfare reforms need to be published.
These documents don’t have contain “national secrets” like how many of our nukes are serviceable at any given time or who’s fingernails we pulled out at our black ops site in Diego Garcia but the day to day workings of our government. Sure the contents of which may be embarrassing to those who fucked up but that’s the whole point.
Johnsons time in power has shown we need to have a clear over view of the competence and consequences of our government.
With out full governmental transparency we can never bench mark what our governments are actually doing.

She’s always in the corner of the screen during PMQs close to the speaker but doesn’t really move. She’s probably thinking how on earth she’s here and in the job, and somewhat amazed brown nosing got her to where she is.
I can picture her with a load of confidential papers to be shredded, standing in the open dropping folders all over the place that’s she’s written in thick red letters spelling out SHRED but looking a bit like a victim doing it out of duty rather than principle or morally.
The others are similar but know why and just own it. None of them qualified to be where they are but don’t care as they’re in power and that’s all that matters.
