Cancel all the things, and close down all event venues!
In principle, I’d have no problem with hosts canceling events for stupid reasons. They are primarily canceling and killing themselves. All these alternative, tolerant, leftie, commune style venues are only trying to do what their customer base wants, and the reality is: The anti-racists have long become racist themselves.
My real issue is this: Why are the City and the Canton of Zürich supporting these bigots via “Fachstelle Kultur” and tax payer money? It is a rhetorical question, we all know that the “cultural workers” and administrators have been ideologically aligned forever. It’s been decades of “alternative” politics. This is what the people systematically voted in, so we have to assume that a majority is in favor of such.
Why is Migros also supporting these people?
It will get much worse before it gets better. One can only hope that these people abolish themselves.

There has been a lot of stuff lately that I had a hard time understanding. But this new thing is really reaching new bizarre levels of what in all seven kingdoms is going on here?
A group of self-proclaimed open and tolerant people succeed in canceling concerts because they don’t like the artists hairstyle? So, in essence, just people with a certain ancestry are allowed to wear certain hairstyles and play certain music? What in holy sweet baby Jesus is inclusive and tolerant and open about this? I really, really tried to understand what is going on in their minds. I thought, ok, let’s turn this around, shall we?
Now, the most inherently Swiss music style one can think of is probably Jodeling, right? So, let’s imagine there is a Jodeling concert being held by Jamaican singers for example. They dress up with the traditional clothes and wear those Cow-Earrings. I’d definitely watch this! Now, some people at the venue get completely offended by this so called cultural appropriation and demand the concert being cancelled. Well, you’d think that would come from the most right wing conservatives ever right? Yeah well, here we are.
So, by their logic, only white people are allowed to sing Verdi or play Mozart ?

Cultural appropriation is good and should be encouraged. These moral grandstanders who insist on gatekeeping and policing every aspect of our society are a poison and the sooner we start to shut them up, the better.
But besides all of that, dreadlocks on a white person is disgusting. Do you realize how much effort you need to put into NOT washing your hair for it to start looking like that?
