The QR-Bill which was introduced in 2020 and is mandatory for all businesses by September 2022 supports three types, one with QR-IBAN and two with IBAN: https://www.paymentstandards.ch/en/shared/know-how/faq/qr.html
If I send a client a QR-Bill of the QR-IBAN type and he requests one with IBAN instead and refuses to pay otherwise, am I obliged to send him such a bill instead?

You can still send an invoice with your IBAN number and amount.
QR is replacing the invoices with reference numbers.

What kind of payment did you specifiy in your sales contract or your general terms and conditions? If nothing is specified they can settel the debt using cash.
Any normal e-banking should work with QR bills. What is the issue ?
I’m on the other side, will just put the IBAN on the invoices. Most customers will pay by e-banking anyway, and I’d rather not have them pay at the postal counter…
We didn’t vote for QR! So it s illegal.
on the QR bill are all information the company needs for payment, it just merges the ESR/IBAN bill together.
They can use the QR code and scan it or enter it manually.
After September you are required to use the QR Bill, but you either can use a QR-IBAN or QR kred reference with your normal old IBAN number, I know some companies have issues because the waited to long or just use a freaking old system which doesn’t support the creating of QR stuff.
