How/where can I recycle these? The recycle point near me only has “paper” section….

  1. I’d burn them/use them as fire wood (if they’re not colored/are untreated), otherwise probably the normal waste.

  2. If it is like this it is called Sperrmüll. So bringing it to a recycling center will coat a few bucks, not much though.
If the wood is untreated and you remove the nails & screws you can burn it. If they are in a good state you can also give it away to people that want it.

  3. If it is still in reasonably good condition, someone from Tutti will surely pick it up.

  4. Depends where you live, there might be a depot where you can bring it and in some cases the local waste companys pick it up in front of your door but ask them.

  5. Reuse, reduce, recycle. Almost guaranteed somebody would be willing to pick it up from you and maybe spend a handful of francs on it. If in good condition

  6. You could probably leave them outside your front door* and they’d be gone in half an hour.

    *depending on where you live

  7. Every town usually has small recycling points with the usual paper/glass/PET… And a bigger recycling place with all the big stuff: wood, appliances, metal, compost etc. Just find the nearest one!

  8. You must save them up! Every Swiss person gathers them up and we all jointly get rid of them on an agreed upon date. In most cantons the communes will set up collective burn sites around the end of July

  9. Fill with flower pots, make a pet bed, organize recyclables, convert to wine rack, store art supplies, harvest vegetables, organize under desk wires, cat box, hundreds of uses!
