Love it. You regularly find British/Irish inspired pubs in Italy. They often have a great selection of beers and offer a full Italian menu so you get the best of both worlds!
I’ve worked and lived in many other countries and enjoy all sorts of food – my wife claims there’s nothing I don’t like.
BUT, having grown up in West Yorkshire, I still absolutely love decent fish and chips.
That’s where my family is from. I have been to this sagra a few times and it’s fun. The football stadium is named after my granny’s cousin who played for Italy. Another cousin of hers once claimed on BBC radio that our family invented fish and chips which I don’t think is true.
It’s a magical place but you don’t have to visit as tourism would just ruin it like everywhere else in Tuscany.
