Weird… I think most people think of it as an unmitigated disaster and possible one of the biggest deliberate humanitarian disasters in the early 21st century.
At the tactical level, the men and women who were shafted with a very complex situation at short notice largely did a fantastic job. That includes the engineers, pilots, security teams, loadmasters and plenty of other people who actually conducted or enabled the evacuations.
At a political level, it was a total shitshow.
Wouldn’t have put her down as a dog person.
The withdrawal from Dunkirk was a retreat to be proud of.

Why the fu*k was the uk involved a war in a third world stone age country especially Afghanistan just look at its previous history
