  3. The soldiers were attacked with chemical weapons. They are hospitalised and [risk losing their sight permanently](https://top-channel.tv/2022/08/20/e-rende-tre-shtetas-ruse-sulmojne-me-arme-kimike-ushtaret-ne-uzinen-e-gramshit-njeri-prej-tyre-ne-gjendje-kritike/). Around 2 weeks ago Kosovo also [captured Daria Asimilova](https://balkaninsight.com/2022/08/08/spying-russian-journalist-rejected-by-kosovo-back-in-serbia/#:~:text=Kosovo%20Interior%20Minister%20Xhelal%20Svecla,one%20day%20after%20Aslamova's%20arrest.), a confirmed Russian spy who was posing as a journalist. Independent journalists published old photos of her posing with Radovan Karadzic. One year ago Russian ‘citizens’ were caught in the perimeter of Kuçovë Aerodrome taking pictures and footage with a drone, which is being renovated for NATO operations. 2-3 days after our gov renamed the street where the Russian embassy lies to ‘[Free Ukraine](https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/albania-renames-street-capital-tirana-free-ukraine-2022-03-06/)’ the Albanian consulate in Kharkiv [was shelled](https://euronews.al/en/albania/2022/03/07/albanias-consulate-in-kharkiv-shelled-by-russian-missiles/).

I wasn’t sure what to think about the Russian tourist ban, but the risk of infiltration by spies especially in vulnerable spots like the Balkans is too high.
