  1. Must have said it 100 times on here, the next planning tribunal will have cross party players. A conspiracy to sow up the property market, and pollute pallning decisions in favour of those involved and connected is unraveling.

Generations of rent and public money funnelled into party affiliated pockets.

Remember there will be a new tax to pay for those made permanently assetless. Everyone must now be taxed to pay the rent of those who were robbed of the chance to buy. Every single one of us will put money in their pocket.

  2. There’s some nice symmetry involved though.. Mícheál Martin’s time at the top of FF began with an association with Bertie Ahern, and subsequently having to fend off the allegations of corruption within their parliamentary party. Now here we are all these years later and his time at the top of FF is ending with him having to fend off more allegations of corruption. Plus ca change..

  3. I don’t get it, the headline says one thing, but the article says this:

    >There is no suggestion of any impropriety in relation to the approval of the development but there are concerns in Government over the legitimacy of planning decisions Mr Hyde made following the investigation into potential conflicts of interest he had while sitting on the board.

So what is this story about? Local NIMBYs objected to two houses being built on the grounds that they look different, there’s no suggestion of any wrongdoing in the granting of planning permission.

Is this article about the fact that Hyde was the one who approved the planning application?
