More new mothers over 40 than under 20 in Wales for first time

  1. I don’t see this as an affordability issue. I see it as very very positive that more adults are becoming mother’s than teenagers becoming mother’s in Wales.

  2. I’d love to have kids. We’re early 30s and our household income is £82k. I did everything I was told, got a degree in Engineering, immediately landed a good job, at a good company in the South East. We can’t afford to have kids.

I can’t imagine how fucked people who earn less than us are.

Edit: apparently I’m mistaken. Reddit has let me know that we can in fact afford to have kids. Thanks guys!
