I just read some articles that the weapon industry grew this year, however russia’s share shrank. Gotta test your weapons somewhere I guess…
Anyhow, It’s possible russia will invade a portion of ukraine, I don’t think they’re out to conquer the entire country. They’ll probably want some strategic points like rivers and such. Either way, Ukraine is pretty fucked and nobody is going to really help them stop Russia. They’ll just sell them lots of weapons to make more money.
The time is also great, EU is havily reliant on russian gas during winter. What’s the EU going to do, sanctions? Russia can just cut the gas suply and cause instability within the EU, we all know the EU can’t function when there’s internal turmoil.
Warmongering. So many articles predicting a Russian invasion when they are barely holding Crimea and economy is fragile.
Yo, anyone wants to explain to me again how Ostpolitik is awesome and will lead to long-term stability in EE? Half a year ago the NS2 fanboys couldn’t shut up about it and I’d love an encore.
NATO is past its sell-by date and stinking up the room.
Still sabre rattling.I understand the nervous Outlook (especially were I in eastern Ukraine) but so far things look like the usual dick waving.
Which seems to be a strange priority for the Russian Government, even as the Economy is circling the drain.
bullshit. russia can’t afford a large scale war. this is just posturing from someone used to getting his way through bullying.
