It’s not about availability. Some of the campus student accommodation is priced like your staying in the Four Seasons for the year.
And the 1st years havent even come into the mix yet, this is gonna get real fun
Affordability is also a part of availability, no way can a full time student afford to rent at the moment, especially when groceries etc cost so much.
I graduated UCC in 2019 and was starting to really feel the pinch in the final year, can only imagine what it’s like at the moment for students.
I’m working in broga house right now and it’s supposed to be finished in 2 weeks. Sorry to break it to anyone interested but there’s 2 months left on that job easy
Old man yells at cloud
I finished at UCC in 2017 and there wasnt enough accommodation back then, nevermind the fact that half the houses on college road were not up to standard or in anyway safe for people to be living in, infested with black mould.
Trinity’s provost seems to actually understand what is going on.
Doesn’t matter to fuck if no one can afford it.
The fact that MTU is expanding now too means that there will be more competition at a variety of price points in the near future.
I can’t see this getting better in any way for anyone.
Is the student accom going up on north Main Street affordable?
