Anyone know the era of this Jaffa bottle? Was out looking for kantarelli and found an abandoned mökki in the forest. Trying to place when it was last visited.

  1. Mökkis I know have random stuff from many decades.

Edit: Also not cool to enter random mökki.

  2. The bottle is pre-2007, that’s approximately when the hard plastic ones were replaced with the soft ones.

  3. Sorry, just to be clear. The photo was taken from a window. I didn’t enter, and I cropped the photo to protect privacy further around other stuff in the cabin. Definitely seemed abandoned from other clues you could see around. It was also not on a lakefront. It was on a random small river – completely in the forest.

  4. Look best before date and go from there. Also. Don’t think that’s abondened. You don’t live in mökki.

  5. Yeah dude as most people have said here already, don’t enter people’s Stugor. That’s no different than a break in.

  6. Everyman’s rights on domestic privacy and public peace: “Intentional invasion of domestic privacy is prohibited by
law. For example, unlawfully entering domestic premises or disturbing the domestic privacy of another by making noise is considered an invasion of domestic privacy. **Areas deemed protected domestic premises include homes, holiday homes, tents, mobile homes and houseboats, as well as private yards and all buildings directly connected to the yard area.** There is no public right of way through other people’s yards.”

    Not cool, dude.

  7. I remember these from my childhood. I think they started to roll out the current, let’s call it the 5-legged bottle design, in the mid 2000?

So probably at the latest that’s like 2005 or so. Did tou check the expuration date on it?

Also next time don’t just enter someones mökki, that’s just asking for trouble

  8. People keep those bottles from years ago because they are built like tank. I probably have also beer bottles from the 60s lying around especially near windows because they have nice design. But I also doubt the abandon status, it’s way too tidy in there, and where is all the dust ( I have more on my own shelves I clean maybe once a quarter!) Unmaintained yard is not unusual, and random old stuff lying around neither. I know of old widowed granny who visit their cottage but no family or energy to do yard chores.
