If you are a tenant, you should contact the landlord. They are responsible for making sure it works and may have to call in a technician. Unless they told you before signing the lease that it doesn’t work and you have to live with it or fix it yourself.
as others said, even if you can, DON’T.
Problem is if you try to fix it and it s still not working they will blame you.
