A couple weeks ago I asked for advice on what to make for a Belgian themed dinner. Thank you everyone for the suggestions, sorry if things did not come out perfect. I think it was one of the better, maybe the best, dinner so far. Don’t worry we had proper beer glasses that I bought for the occasion.

  1. Cool spread, good job!I would be quite curious to taste the pink shrimp croquettes. How was the steak tartare? Not gonna lie it looks like it has gone bad already…

  2. The Rabbits and prunes are not dark/brown enough for me. But overall seems like a good job (hope you double fried the fries)

    Also like the Saison Dupont and Sint Bernardus you have there

    I have another dish for you when it is hot outside ( e.g. summer); it is pretty simple: peach with tuna 😉 tuna (canned in own liquid) mash with fork, add mayonnaise (the good belgian one, mayonnaise with eggs) and a dash of lemonjuice, put the tuna in the peaches (peaches are canned and in own liquid) and spinkle a bit of parsly on top 😁 you would be surprised how good it is!

    As for beer: Duvel and gouden carolus whisky infused might be missing, however you have a fine selection displayed already 😄

    It’s actually not to far from where I live. My neighor goes there once every year or so with his trailer and comes back with the entire thing filled with beer crates. They drink it like pils.
