Just saw a strange moving string of lights above Martigny.
i can’t make out anything on this picture. and since you say last week and not a specific date i can’t really answer your question. but nevertheless it’s not unusual to have fighter jets overhead. the swiss air force has live missions every day, sometimes multiple times a day, so it is not unlikely that you had fighter jets overhead. live missions are for instance assisting an aircraft with an emergency among other things. we have one of the busiest and most complicated airspaces in the world, so there’s a decent amount of fighter jet stuff going on 🙂
edit: if you are talking about the condensation stripes, that’s just normal traffic on an airway. so basically a “road” for planes, that’s why you have many of these condensation trails.
edit 2: after talking with someone in the airforce – no SAF activity over winterthur last week unless they were in transit, so i’m guessing you just mean the trails, which are absolutely normal and nothing out of the ordinary lol
There was a show in Romanshorn. I saw them practice around a day or two before around St. Gallen as well.
