I just made video asking (mostly tourists, but some locals) in Makarska and most said Luka Modric. What would you guys say? I didn’t give any other guidelines like “current” or “of all time”

I might be delusional, but I geniunely think its Mate Rimac. Dude is literally everywhere. Modric comes close second imo
I’d say it’s quite clearly Modrić, especially when you take into account the whole world. Even kids in Latin America, Middle East, etc. who like football know about him.
