I was there, atmosphere at the counter protest was pretty good. The anti abortion lot looked like a bunch of posh nonces.

What I’m quite glad about is there was a large counter protest of about 100ish people (myself and my wife included).
Particular highlights include:
* A cyclist pulling down their banner
* 2 women making out in front them while giving them the finger
* A nearby terrace turned up their music and played, among others, Killing in the Name Of by Rage Against The Machine and Fuck You by Lilly Allen
* A woman telling them in no uncertain terms to fuck off when they wanted a give her a flyer
* As they were getting ready to leave, some bystander threw some eggs at them

Als er 1 groep is voor wie abortus geen issue is dan zijn het toch homo’s en lesbiennes?
Persoonlijk vind ik het beangstigend hoe in dit soort discussies enkel PRO-abortus wordt aanvaard. Bij deze dus wat tegengas. Voor de enthousiastelingen: i.p.v. te downvoten, daag ik je uit om mijn mening te veranderen.
Ik ben dus TEGEN abortus, behalve in specifieke gevallen (bv: verkrachting, risico overlijden moeder enz). Onder het motto: iedereen maakt zijn eigen keuze (bv om seks te hebben) maar moet dan ook de eventuele gevolgen (zwangerschap) er bij nemen. Dit geldt uiteraard zowel voor de man als vrouw. Uiteraard moet dit gepaard gaan met degelijke seksuele opvoeding (op school) en betaalbare voorbehoedsmiddelen.
