Tbf, out of 20,000 councillors, that doesn’t seem an awful lot. How many of all other types of defection have there been?
How many can be directly attributed to Starmer? I’m no fan of him but the Manchester defection was because of bullying and racism within the local Manchester labour group which has been an issue for longer than Starmer has been around. How many others were due to local issues rather than national?
