Tory MPs don’t want to come back from holidays to debate energy prices – Yorkshire Post Letters

  1. Of course they don’t. Having to pay more for energy is a minor inconvenience for most MPs – who are wealthy individuals.

  2. Even Borris and Starmer aren’t willing to come back.

Yet Gordon Brown came out with a fair solution and all Tory MP’s are shitting bricks because they can either do what’s right for the people and agree with a Ex-Labour MP. Or do absolutely nothing and watch people riot and loot in a couple of weeks.

  3. So they don’t want to do their job? Then they should face the consequences that literally anyone else would face if they refused to do the job they were employed to do.

  4. I’m sure the fact that tories have huge financial stakes in energy companies is completely irrelevant to the fact they’re refusing to tackle the energy cost crisis
