  1. Well?!? Don’t be shy! Let the poor thing in, it’s probably nackard from its trip. Put the kettle on for it!

  2. Used to work night shifts at a factory, from time to time I’d find these massive moths hanging around. Like ones that actually make you panic a bit because you didn’t know they could be that size. They’re absolutely harmless though and sometimes let you pick them up

  3. Some sort of hawk moth. I used to get death’s head hawkmoth’s in my old house. They’re big and have a skull like marking on them. They can also squeak like a mouse which is pretty jarring if you don’t know about it.

  4. It’s a moth, they are nocturnal butterflies. Totally harmless, unless you lend them money. Then they just keep asking for more and never leave.

  5. Definitely a moth, a very big moth.
When we’d go to my see my aunty in the countryside when we were kids I was always fascinated with the giant moths they’d get outside the back door at night. She’d save up coffee and pasta jars and poke holes in the lids so I could bring them home to show my friends who didn’t believe there was such thing as giant moths, well I showed them! 😂
They just about fit into the jars they were that big.
My uncle released them because it was cruel to keep them in jars, I cried for days.

  6. I had a bastard moth get into my kitchen.. every time I went near the sink I could hear this demonic *hissssssssssss* and it had me looking at the lights and sockets thinking I was about to go up in flames.

It was one of these big bollocks.. it took 5 slaps from a newspaper for the cunt to finally stop moving. Mother of god I thought it was going to eat me

Edit: this was about 2 weeks ago and, same as you, I had never seen one this size before. He was about the size of the palm of my hand
