It’s probably best to assume all our beaches are an open sewer at this point.
Is the sand much better considering the water sits on top of it?
Usual excuse is that exceptional rain overwhelmed sewers and they did this in preference to letting sewage back up through toilets. Yes. All that rain we’ve had recently.
