Need to get a new sähkö sopimus, anybody has experience with https://karhuvoima.fi/?
As the prices are crazy, they have low price 22, 27c/kwh compare to others.
Was checking also Helen Environmental electricity – a combination of renewable energy for 24,09c/kwh.
As its totally new to me, any help, tips?
I know prices probably dont go down anytime soon anyway.
Thanks

I’d probably go with Helen since i’ve never heard of karhuvoima. And Helen isn’t going to go out of business too easily
It is a small company with about eight (8) employees. It seems they do not produce electricity, but only trade. I think if you want to be on the safe side select companies who have at least some own production facilities. However at the moment it seems fairly difficult to find any reasonable offers for fixed term contracts.
Personally if I were in the market atm I would take cheapest (probably Fortum non-fixed-term and non-environmental) and seek to change it to something better as soon as the market situation improves.
It’s owned by KSS Energia nowadays, which is relatively large seller/network owner in Kouvola. So I wouldn’t be extremely worried despite the size. But Helen is always a sure bet of course.
Haven’t had any issues with Karhu voima, been their customer for few years. They also have been fair with price increases as I don’t need to pay that 22c/kWh (yet..) even though I have the ”toistaiseksi voimassaoleva” contract
