The push for solar panels is big with this ongoing rise of prices. My electrician had to fix some things at my home, now he doesn’t want to come anymore because he is busy with installing solar panels.
We did it!
Another win for liberalization…doing exactly what it’s supposed to, pushing up prices and fucking over normal people. But commodities traders are having the time of their lives, and that’s who the system was designed for. Completely fucked up.
What does the current gasprice matter? Who’s warming their houses NOW, or taking several boiling hot baths every day? And electricity price, well yeah, only shitty thing about working from home, I guess.

Time to stop working at home I guess
Sky is the limit!
And our elected representatives are once again dithering and twiddling their thumbs until it is all too late, again. And next elections it will be the finger pointing contest.
Imagine if we had already closed our nuclear power plants now, like Tine van der Straeten would have liked..
Sad thing is, the ones we have our old and the construction of new ones takes 10years. We are 10years too late, we shouldve started building new nuclear plants 10y ago. But no, we kept living in this illusion that solar/wind would save us and that we could forever rely on cheap russian gas.
Can’t wait till everyne needs to start driving EV’s
I propose we put our politicians on electricity generating stationary bikes and have them produce our power directly. I feel that’s the best we can expect from them.
Funny thing is. I do not have an air conditioning. I literally got steam cooked in my bed with the heat waves and now I need to pay more because of that 🙂
Meh ik betaal amper 138 EUR per maand voor gas en electriciteit dit jaar. En zoals het er nu naar uitziet wordt dat bij de contractvernieuwing 183 EUR. Ik zie het grote probleem helemaal niet.
Thank god I’m in an energy neutral building. I haven’t paid a dime on heat or electricity. I’m glad thay BE is quite forward thinking in regards to this.
